About the Scheme

Every year, countless motorcycle racers have to give up racing because of a lack of finance. Dozens of young boys and girls have to give up their dream of racing because they can't afford to even get started. And hundreds of talented racers have to watch racing instead of racing because they can't find a sponsor.

Could one of them have been the next Rossi, the first woman British Champion or the first disabled racer to be offered a Works bike?

Financial sponsorship is difficult if not impossible to come by. Not everyone will become a champion, so most of the "big name" sponsorship money goes to a few top racers leaving the real core of the sport, the club racers, desperately trying to find ways and means to continue racing.

Adopt a Racer has been set-up to help these racers raise financial sponsorship and give them a chance to take home a sponsorship fund every quarter. It also gives the public a chance to get more involved in helping their local racers as well as actively help the sport. The non-profit scheme provides a comprehensively managed direct link between club racers and sponsors, allowing racers to concentrate on racing.
