to Tim's:

Tim Pritchard began racing as a novice in the first ever series of Superteen in
1991. He finished 15th in the championship just behind James Haydon. His best
finish in racing was 4th whilst still a novice before he was forced to quit in
early 1992 due to unemployment and the consequential lack of available cash.
After a 10 year gap and a few road bikes, Tim got the track bug back and began
club racing again, winning his first novice race in 2002 but competing in only 3
meetings that year. In 2003, his races were again limited due to a lack of funds
caused by chronic bad luck and machinery problems
However, having suffered such a torrid season in 2003,and a total non starter in
2004, he has re-evaluated what he wants to get out of racing, and also with
reference to the scheme, what he and his team can offer potential adopters.
Tim said: When I go racing, I love to have my friends and family with me, and
that's what I think the team can offer adopters - a friendly atmosphere.
Someone who enjoys watching club racing, but would like to be more involved with
a team, can help out financially and reap the rewards of being with a pleasant
bunch of people that are not only out to succeed, but more importantly, to have
fun doing it...(not to mention that we have awesome barbeques)!! "
"Naturally entry tickets to races are at a premium", continued Tim, "but
adopters can be assured that we'll do out utmost to supply them with as much
hospitality as we can muster, and whatever happens at the race meeting, they'll
go home with a smile on their faces."
A switch to a standard but well kitted GSXR 600 K1 will, Tim hopes, pave the way
to a reliable, and more importantly, fun season in the 2005 KRC endurance
championship, which includes the UK's first ever 24 hour race at Snetterton in
July...why not join them for the experience?
Tim is passionate about the sport and feels that the endurance championship
would be an ideal way to get some much needed track time. He needs your
financial sponsorship to enable him to continue racing, learning and improving
and also to have the funds for bike preparation, entry fees and additional
expenses.
You can adopt Tim for as little as £10
a month and make a real difference!
