Shaun began his involvement with racing
in 2000 when he worked for Dave Wood as a technician in
British Superbikes. The following year, he worked for
Performance House Suzuki running Shane "Shakey" Byrne in
British Superbikes.
He started racing himself in 2002 where
he competed in the New Era CB500 Superclub and Club
Championships. He came 3rd in the Superclub Championship
and won the Club Championship in spite of breaking his
collar bone twice and breaking his right wrist.
In 2003, Shaun competed in the highly
competitive BMCRC Supersport 600 class as well at the
Clubman 600 Championship where he came 14th.
Shaun is again competing in the BMCRC
Supersport 600 and Clubman 600 Championship in 2004. He
needs sponsorship to enable him to run a competitive
bike without the severe financial constraints he was
under last year.
He says that financial support will help
him carry on doing what he loves best and allow him to
compete in the Isle of Man Manx Grand Prix.
