Neville's only previous experience of
track riding came after riding a few track days on his
road bike last year. He found himself to be one of the
fastest intermediates on the circuit. Neville soon
became frustrated as he wanted to go faster and put in
more laps, but safety dictated he could not do this on a
track day.
It was at that point, that he knew the
only way forward was to race where he could improve his
riding and learn from experienced racers.
2004 will be Neville's first season
competing in the BMCRC Rookie 400 Championship. He was
unable to make the first two rounds due to financial
limitations and says that sponsorship will give remove
the pressure of worrying about entry fees, tyres,
travelling costs and other factors. This, in turn, will
allow him to concentrate and focus more on his riding
and racings, which is what he feels he can do best. Can
