to Darren's:

Darren started racing in 2001 on an uncompetitive RGV250, which gave him some
top 15 finishes in the New Era Superclub/Club races and some NG races in his
first season During the season, he changed to a ZX6R Kawasaki gaining a fourth
place in his first outing.
In 2002, Darren was plagued by bad luck and decided to change the ZX6 for a
GSXR600 K1 for the 2003 season. This proved to be the best thing he ever did as
he quickly established himself as a top 10 rider in the NG Club. He finished 8th
in the 600 Championship that year as well with several top 3 finishes to his
name, on what was basically a standard machine.
2004 was to be even better as he achieved 2 wins, multiple top 3 finishes and
was the top 600 in the Open Class on several occasions. He ended the season on a
high note, coming 5th in the championship. Always looking to improve his riding
Darren competed in the MRO SS600 round at Silverstone, a circuit Darren had
never been to before, and Qualified 29th out of 39 riders but in the race lapped
within 1.5 seconds of the leaders to storm through to 16th place at the flag.
Darren's goal is to lift the NG 600cc Championship in 2005 and to finish in the
top 3 of the Open Championship before (hopefully and budget permitting) entering
the televised British Supersport Championship in 2006.
Sponsorship will not only help Darren to secure the NG 600 Championship in 2005
but also to achieve his goal of a full time ride in the British Championship.
