Moore's of Hemel Hempstead, Yamaha Premier Dealers, has
sponsored Supersport 600 competitor, Mike Eglington,
with a new Yamaha 2005 R6 motorcycle and spares in a
package valued at just under £9,000!
Moore's decided to sponsor Mike after seeing him ride in
the KRC Endurance Champions for the last four years and
watching his progress in the BMCRC Supersport 600
Championship last year.
Behind the sponsorship is director, Colin Moore who has
been impressed with Mike's riding skills. Not only has
Colin given Mike the unexpected bike sponsorship but he
has asked him to ride with the Moore's Racing Endurance
Team, whose Yamaha R1 is also sponsored by the company.
 It was Colin’s grandfather and great uncles that started
the successful business in a barn 75 years ago. The
company, as it is today, began trading in the Hemel
Hempstead location in 1936, is still a family business
and now run by the third generation of Moores. Moores
began trading at their site in 1936.
Over the decades Moore's have sold almost every type of
British motorcycle and in more recent years at some time
or other, all of the Japanese makes as well as many
European machines. However today you will find Moore's
are a Yamaha Premier Dealer.
