Phil Polden has been anonymously adopted for £300. The individual asked
that the money be used to pay for Phil's Adopt a Racer
fees for the 2005 season as they are supporters of both.
Phil's new sponsor says that Phil is a racer that
deserves to be sponsored, especially after the
determination and courage he showed in racing again last
year. This person said that they hope others will adopt
Phil so that he can finish the season and have the best
possible chance of winning the Supersport 400
Championship this year.
His sponsor sends this message of encouragement to
Phil:
"If I don't see you on the podium this year,
then you will find out who I am from the kick up the
backside I'll give you! You know you've got it in you -
go for it!"
